FATHERS DAY 2023
THE HEART OF A LION
THE HEART OF A FATHER
“THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES EVERY HOME AND EVERY FATHER STRATEGIES THAT WORK SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR PARTICULAR HOME AND FAMILY.” – Troy Brewer
The Power of an Anointed Strategy: In Genesis 41, Joseph interprets Pharaoh’s prophetic dream—that seven years of plenty in the land are going to be followed by seven years of famine.
Joseph doesn’t stop with the interpretation—he boldly follows it with an anointed strategy for how Pharaoh can manage the situation and save the nation.
And Pharaoh asks, “Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the Spirit of God?” – Genesis 41:38
Then, he puts Joseph in charge of the project!
One anointed strategy from God is powerful; it can even save nations.
Be encouraged by these words of James:
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault,
and it will be given to you. – James 1:5
Changing times and seasons require different kinds of strategies and plans. My goodness, how the times have changed, when it comes to your family.
“I will guide you in the way of wisdom and I will lead you in upright paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered, and when you run, you will not stumble.” – Proverbs 4:11, NIV
In this generation, Your family is under attack. The devil can’t have my family.
Today’s call to action is for men to be the fathers He has created you to be and for women to celebrate and support the reality of strong, godly FATHERHOOD.
The strategy of the devil is diminish the role of father until we can’t even recognize the heart of Father God himself.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. – Ephesians 6:11
Every strategy, every plan, every way you can be successful as a family leader can be found in your growing relationship with your God, as illustrated through your discovery of the Father’s Heart!
“Every great idea about what home could be, should be, is waiting for us in the Father’s heart.”

Being fascinated with the Father’s heart and learning the Father’s heart equips, demonstrates and models for you everything you ever need to know about fatherhood.
One of the things men have to learn to deal with is pressing past our emotions and feelings and pressing into the determination and the discipline and the reality of
I AM A GOOD DAD.
I CAN BE GOOD DAD.
ALL OF IT MAKES A TREMENDOUS DIFFERENCE.
“Yeah, but I don’t feel like it,” you say.
Men feel inadequate because they have been conditioned by this limp-wristed generation of woke ideology to feel inadequate. Dads lack confidence and are otherwise impotent in places where they should be powerful and strong.
The scripture says you are more than able. You are following Jesus and Jesus has overcome the world.
“But take heart; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
Greater is he who is on than He who is in the world – 1 John 4:4
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. – Romans 8:37
Good Fathers = Strong Kids
Good Fathers = Strong Families
Good Fathers = Strong Communities
This is so foundational.
If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? – Psalms 11:3
Your kids are being targeted today, and not just at Target. They are coming after your kids. The enemy wants to destroy the life of your child. Their war on boys, men, fathers, masculinity, and family is real.
When it comes to child predators, they target children when they don’t perceive the father as a threat. Those who groom children specifically prey on those without a father or who have a very weak relationship with their father.
The reason we didn’t have pride parades, transgenderism, hormone and body mutilation in kids 30 years ago was because they had to work on removing the threats of the masculine father first. Then they unleashed hell on our kids.
God your Father saves you from the threat of your enemies. Learn this from your Father in heaven and demonstrate it.
He will bring everything hidden into the light.
Enemies can be sneaky. They will say cutting remarks to you no one else notices, threaten you when others aren’t around, or try to quietly cheat you out of money, opportunities or relationships. Even so, there is One who sees everything that is done in secret, and He says, “Nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light” (Luke 8:17, NKJV). Next time you have an enemy coming against you, obey Luke 6:27-36, then pray Luke 8:17 and thank God that He will bring everything hidden into the light.
He will avenge you and bring holy justice.
That desire you have for justice? That comes from the One in whose image you were created. He is the God of justice, and He loves justice. It’s good to want justice in the world, but when you try to get it for yourself, you’ve put yourself in His place.
Romans 12:19 says, “Never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord” (ESV).
Under THE BLESSING, God has promised to deal with our enemies. Gloria Copeland says, “The Lord shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before your face. This is THE BLESSING; this belongs to you. They will come against you one way but flee before you seven ways. When you are under the curse, you run from your enemies, but under THE BLESSING, they run from you.” You may not see it firsthand, but you can count on Him to carry out what He has promised.
He won’t let enemies succeed against you.
Your greatest enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy. And he doesn’t work alone. He’ll use other people, even Christians, to carry out his plans. Sometimes, it even seems like those plans are succeeding. Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn.” So, if you have people trying to sue you or harm you in some way, you just walk in love toward them, and stand on that scripture. Faith has no fear.
He will prepare a table before you.
When you’re walking in love and obedience to God’s Word, no matter who comes against you, they can’t stop the blessings God has in store for you. Satan uses people to try and get us into offense. He knows if he can get us in strife and out of love, we’re out of position to receive the blessings of God. So, stay on the love line and don’t budge. No matter how much wrong is done to you, forgive, love and pray. Then, declare and receive His promise to prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5).
He will help you defeat the real enemy.
At the end of the day, you might think your enemy is your co-worker, your neighbor or your mother-in-law, but the true enemy is the one pulling all the strings. Ephesians 6:12-13 tells us that we do not fight against flesh-and-blood enemies but against evil spirits. Most of us know this truth, but it takes a constant reminder when flesh and blood are right in front of us causing so much trouble! God has given you all authority over the enemy. So, when he tries to send people your way, rebuke him, send him packing, and remind him that he must go back where he belongs—under your feet!
1. FIGHT TO PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN AND BE A THREAT TO THOSE WHO WOULD HARM YOUR CHILD.
2. FIGHT FOR ACCESS TO YOUR KIDS.
A lot of of fatherlessness is not from abandonment, but from antiquated family law.
The majority fight to have access to their children and often to no prevail.
Should we really be surprised that when fathers have the opportunity to be a part of their children’s lives, they are more likely to bond with them, to care more about them and want to make sure that they have some financial security in their lives?
In John 5:17, the whole narrative of “why do you work on the Sabbath” and Jesus said, “Because my father has always been working and that’s why I am always working.”
I think children learn more by observing what their father does than anything else.
Not just your actions. They see your spirit. What you prioritize. Have a heart to know The Father.
Every time you laugh, you are releasing something.
Have your kids ever seen you reading the word?
Have they ever heard you pray?
Have they seen you go to church?
Have they seen you be a committed giver?
THERE IS A SUPERNATURAL GRACE TO BE A FATHER THAT COMES FROM KNOWING THE FATHER
