I am finishing up this series on turning your ghost stories into holy ghost stories with “Peek a boo!”

I THOUGHT ABOUT CALLING THIS MESSAGE “THE EVIL EYE” OR MAYBE EVEN “JEEPERS CREEPERS”

Because in learning to deal with how we overcome fear, evil, dread and terror, we have to look at owning the responsibility of the lens of how we see the world.

I said on Wednesday night, “If you find out an asteroid is coming to Earth, your lens should make you say, “Well, so is King Jesus.”

If somebody says, “There’s a demon in that house,” your response should be “angels are encamped around me and waiting to respond with glorious fury.”

1 John 4:18 – There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear..

Fear is displaced by confidence in the Lord.

If somebody says, “Death is after you,” you should inform them that no, death had me before I was even born but I’ve been born again and now goodness and mercy are after me.

There is no substitute for your responsibility to hold onto a biblical worldview and know the reality of God’s unstoppable Kingdom!

Nothing should be able to separate you from your faith, belief, devotion or loyalty to the savior who hung on the cross and rose from the dead for you.

What if something happens that I have seen coming. You are responsible for your loyalty to King Jesus.

The way I see it is the way God says it!

If aliens landed on earth tomorrow and started showing us great wonders and mind-blowing fearful things, I would NOT have to rethink my loyalty to king Jesus. I would have to think through whether they are of God’s camp or not.

Romans 8:38-39 – For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39 (Passion Translation) – So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. 39 There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!

THAT’S NOT A GHOST STORY
IT’S A HOLY GHOST STORY!

A KINGDOM Mindset and a biblical worldview

Matthew 6:22 –  “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

The Sermon on the Mount is recorded in Matthew 5, 6 and 7. If you don’t know it, you should.

There had been none of the hype of modern advertising.
There was no media blitz, no full-page adds, no runners had carried the news of large crowd gathering to hear a prophet speak, yet they came and came by the thousands. Jesus had a message for the world and the world was hungry for it.

Matthew 7:28  – And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching,

Farmers, fishermen, merchants, shopkeepers, tax-collectors, doctors of law, Pharisees, Scribes, rich-men, poor-men, beggars, saints and sinners, women, children – people from all walks of life were there that day.

Jesus had something to say to everyone.

Matthew 7:29 – for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

The scribes and Pharisees taught from the words of the Torah = sacred writings and oral traditions.
The Torah says:
Our Law says:
Moses says:
But Jesus said, “I say unto you!” He had authority from God and God sent power.

JESUS HAS A WORD FOR YOU – I MEAN YOU INDIVIDUALLY – THAT DISPLACES FEAR.

THE 10 SPIES HAD THIS SAME WORD, BUT THEY COULD ONLY SEE THE THREAT BEFORE THEM.

Numbers 13:33 – And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

THE DEVIL GAVE THEM THE LENS AND PRESENTED TO THEM A FEARFUL IDENTITY THAT CAUSED THEM TO SEE THEMSELVES AS TINY AND IMPOTENT COMPARED TO THE GREAT BIG MONSTERS IN THE LAND THEY HAD TO NAVIGATE THROUGH.

IF YOU ARE VIEWING YOUR LIFE, YOUR IDENTITY, OR YOUR ABILITY THROUGH THE MONSTERS OF YOUR CRITICS – THOSE WHO LAUGH AT YOU OR THE THINGS THAT SCARE YOU – PLUCK IT OUT!

Matthew 5:29 – And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

WHEN A CHURCH LEADER IS MORE WORRIED ABOUT WHAT THE ENEMIES OF GOD SAY AND THINK:

PEDOPHILES AND THE SEXUALIZATION OF OUR KIDS
HATRED AND HOSTILITY AGAINST THE FAMILY AND REDEFINITION OF MARRIAGE

Matthew 15:14 – Disregard them! They are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.

THE BLIND LEADING THE BLIND.

INSTEAD OF THE FEAR OF THE GIANTS IN OUR LAND –
THE GIANTS OF BIG TECH, THE GIANTS OF BIG GOVERNMENT, THE GIANTS OF BIG MEDIA – THE CHURCH DESPERATELY NEED US TO BE MORE LIKE CALEB AND JOSHUA THAN LIKE THE OTHER 10 COWARDLY SPIES.

INSTEAD OF FEARING THE GIANTS, LEADERS IN THE BODY MUST FEAR THE LORD!

LET HE WHO HAS AN EYE TO SEE

Matthew 13:14-16 – And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive;
15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’
16 “But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;

FRIENDS, QUIT LOOKING THROUGH THE LENS OF YOUR ENEMIES. LOOK THROUGH TH LIGHT OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. BLESSED ARE YOUR EYES, FOR REAL!

TURN YOUR GHOST STORIES INTO HOLY GHOST STORIES.
