The Great Transfer

The Great Transfer

THE GREAT TRANSFER

Matthew 6:9-13 – In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts,  As we forgive our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Joshua 1:8 – This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Colossians 1:11-13 – And we pray that you would be energized with all his explosive power from the realm of his magnificent glory, filling you with great hope. 12 Your hearts can soar with joyful gratitude when you think of how God made you worthy to receive the glorious inheritance freely given to us by living in the light. 13 He has rescued us completely from the tyrannical (unjustly cruel, harsh, or severe; arbitrary or oppressive; despotic; to oppress one under your influence or authority) rule of darkness (physical or moral/shadiness) and has translated us into the kingdom realm of his beloved (affectionate or benevolent) Son.

Colossians 1:13 NIV – “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,”

Colossians 1:13 NKJV – He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.

Translated….The word metestēsen is often translated “delivered” in English translations, but can also mean “transpose,” or even “translate.” This once again highlights God’s rescue of the believer from the power of sin and its consequences. Christian believers are not merely protected from the penalty sin, we are radically removed from it.

Brought…….to transfer, depose (to remove suddenly) or exchange

Conveyed…….. Transport or carry to another place

I shared Sunday morning a prophetic declaration/phrase we have been going after

A FEARLESS DEMONSTRATION OF FREEDOM, REDEMPTION AND THE GOODNESS OF GOD

THE GOODNESS OF GOD IS ALL ABOUT  EXECUTING FREEDOM AND REDEMPTION

Because of redemption, Salvation, cross and death (Jesus rescued, delivered us) there was a great transfer, it was not just about a sin payment, and removing us from eternal judgment, it was not just opening the door to escape poverty or even the ability to overcome infirmity.

This transfer, which these words in the Greek where used to give definition translate, brought, and conveyed.

It literally means to pick up from one place and to be put down into another place.  To be Justified means to be picked up from sin and to be placed into a state of justification just as if you have never sinned. It is a transfer it is being removed from one kingdom that has dominion (kingdom of darkness) and placed into another kingdom the kingdom of His dear Son

He has thoroughly changed our state, He has changed our standing and our position, The Father has brought us out of the dark region of vice bondage and captivity, and placed us in the kingdom under the government of his dear Son.

It means, here, that they who are Christians have been transferred from one kingdom to another, as if a people were thus removed. They become subjects of a new kingdom, are under different laws, and belong to a different community.

This transfer awakens us to four conclusions

  1. A transference from darkness to light.
  2. A transference from slavery to freedom.
  3. A transference from condemnation, guilt and shame to forgiveness, joy, hope and peace.
  4. A transference from the power of Satan to the power of God through Jesus Christ.

Say with me: I am part of the Great Transfer

The Great Transfer also includes moving from the first Adam to the second Adam, Jesus.

Romans 5:18-19 – Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

1 Corinthians 15:22 – For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

1 Corinthians 15:45 – And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit.

Colossians 1:20 TPT – “And by the blood of his cross, everything in heaven and earth is brought back to himself—back to its original intent, restored to innocence again!”

Colossians 1:21-22 TPT – “Even though you were once distant from him, living in the shadows of your evil thoughts and actions, he reconnected you back to himself. He released his supernatural peace to you through the sacrifice of his own body as the sin-payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in his presence. And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored,”

The Great Transfer unlocks our God-given potential and holds us accountable to produce fruit

John 14:12 – “I tell you this timeless truth: The person who follows me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with my Father!

John 16:13-15 – However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.

John 15:1-4 – “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Genesis 1:28 – Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Romans 5:1 TPT  – “Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for us.”
