This book deals with Invisible Wounds
I know all too well about invisible wounds caused by military service, some of you can’t relate.

Nearly all of you can relate to the invisible wounds sustained by a parent, family member, or someone you trusted.

Today’s an appointed time for you – many of you have waited a life time for what’s on these pages

Years after the shooting – I began praying

Psalm 139: 23-24 AMP
Search me [thoroughly], O God, and know my heart;
Test me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.
I had an orphan’s heart, and it was the cause of a lot of my decisions
Gangs, Green Beret, People pleaser
Another revelation – Prayer – stomach issues – it’s a spirit of fear
Freedom session for fear
All this while in full-time ministry

Uvalde

Special Forces Command did not make me who I am. They took what was inside me and forged it into something beautiful and ultimately lethal

Forged knife – Steel is put in fire and then hammered on, and the process is violent and exhausting; in the end is perfection, beauty, and the once block of steel becomes a weapon

Some of you lived a forged life

We were the block of steel placed in the care of parents/adults
Some parents stewarded well what was put into their care
Others couldn’t give what they never received (love) – they didn’t know how
Some – your home was a blaze of fire, and when you weren’t in the fire you were pounded on

Questioning why?
Why, God, did you allow that to happen to me, I was just a kid, I couldn’t fight back?
God, I married for better or worse but I don’t recognize the person I married
Where are You in my situation, God?

When trauma entered our lives – It didn’t start in the military

Growing up Angel’s mother saw her as completion for her father’s heart
Mom threw a knife at her
How did dad protect her? Keeping his distance
She had to search for a daddy’s love outside the home
That scenario only leads to more brokenness

On the other side of the world

My dad died when I was really young
I never heard my dad say
I love you
I am proud of you
Let’s throw the ball
Help me work on the car
He died from alcoholism

What happens when someone is never affirmed at home? They will seek it their entire life
I didn’t realize it but I chased approval like my wife chased love
When we gave our lives to Jesus we were delivered from death but were still wrapped in graveclothes by the invisible wounds of our past

John 11: 38-44 (NKJV) Lazarus Raised from the Dead
38 Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”
Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
When you asked Jesus into your heart you went from death to life – leaving the stench of death

But the stone and graveclothes remained

We live in a fallen world and things that happened to you are affecting your life, and your marriage

Wait! “I said the prayer. I gave my life to Jesus. Didn’t that take care of everything?”
No

Jesus said in Luke 4:18 (NKJV)
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed

He didn’t say, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, and once they receive Me, My work is done.”

It’s actually the opposite. Having Jesus in your heart is just the beginning of healing.

Lazarus is an illustration of the fact that deliverance and freedom are not the same thing. Lazarus was delivered from the grave, but he was not yet free.
Jesus had to say “Loose him and let him go.”

Today, Jesus is calling you forth, and saying “Loose them and let them go.”

Robert Morris’ Prayer

I want to pray for you, please bow your head

Your soul has been crushed – Jesus has come to set you free

Lord you see everyone and you know what happened to us shouldn’t have happened

Lord would you show them that it broke Your heart when it happened.
Would you show them right now how much You hurt for them and how much you care for them?

Holy Spirit would you do for them what you have and are doing for me, will You heal our hearts right now

Lord, I ask You to heal hearts because of a fatherless or motherless home

Lord, I ask You to heal hearts because of absent parents

Lord, I ask you to heal orphan hearts

Lord, I ask You to heal hearts so we can give and receive love

Holy Spirit, would you reach down and heal the bruises that we received?

Lord, I ask you to heal sexual abuse right now

I ask you to heal verbal abuse

Lord, I ask you to heal every person that got slapped by a parent

I ask you to heal every person that got spanked in a violent manner

I ask you to heal those that got corrected in front of other children maybe in-front of a whole classroom, and they were embarrassed, and they were ashamed. And they lived in shame since that time.

I ask you to heal them from all the violence, and those that have lived in fear because of it

You can to tell Him, “I receive healing in Jesus name.”

Lord, I pray that my brothers and sisters will be able to forgive the abusers. The ones that said, and did things that they really didn’t mean. The ones that said, and did things that they did mean and they were harsh and they were mean and they were abusive.

You may need to say this in your heart, or out of your mouth, “I choose to forgive,” I’m not going carry this anymore.

You need to stop chewing out your spouse for things your daddy did to you. You need to stop chewing out your wife for something your mother did.

The vindication that you show the devil is that you are healed from his wounds, and you have a wonderful marriage because Jesus touched you, because Jesus healed you, and because Jesus set you free.

Father we receive healing right now, in the name of Jesus.

EVERYONE PLEASE STAND

I Never Heard My Dad Say will help everyone, believer and non-believer, get loosed from the invisible wounds and live in freedom

Get as many copies as you can and sow them into people that have managed symptoms from Invisible Wounds.

Jesus would say to you, “You, loose them!”
